Dave has over 30 years experience in the Civil Engineering Industry. He started his career as a trainee Quantity Surveyor initially with a small builder. Spells with Derek Crouch and G.M Pearson Builders saw him develop into a fully qualified Surveyor to degree level.

In August 1983, he joined Tarmac as a Quantity Surveyor based in Stockton. His career with Tarmac developed over 22 years employed as QS, Estimator, Senior Estimator, Commercial Manager and for the final 3 years as General Manager based at Birtley.

In June 2005, Dave joined Rainton Construction as a General Manager then had a brief spell with Colas in Newcastle.

Dave’s vast experience and numerous industry contacts makes him the right choice for the new role in the business.
