Our Services: Planing
We have recently invested in our own planing machines.
We currently own a large 2 metre planer and a small 0.5 metre mini planer. Both machines are transported using our own low loader and arisings are swept up using our own mechanical sweeper.
Our planers are mainly dedicated to our own contractual requirements however they can be available for hire at certain times of year.
The road planing arisings are transported from site to our recycling facility at Hendon Docks at The Port of Sunderland where they undergo a screening process to enable the material to be reused in various different ways (click here to view recycled materials).
In house planing means our overall surfacing package is tightly controlled and along with our in house traffic management, ensures that the whole operation is safely and timeously delivered.
