Richard has over 20 years experience within the aggregates industry.

He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of quarry management and coating plants.

Having gained over 20 years experience with Cemex (UK) formerly RMC Aggregates, where he worked his way from Lab Technician to Coating Plant Manager to Quarry Manager and finally to Best Practice Advisor, Richard joined Northumbrian Roads in October 2006.

He is responsible for the safe and efficient running of our site at the Port of Sunderland which operates a coating plant and recycling facility.

He is a member of the Institute of Quarrying and is qualified to a professional level as well as an NVQ level 3 in landfill operations and NEBOSH level 3.
