Stephen joined Northumbrian Roads in September 2007.

After leaving school in 1987 Stephen was employed by John Hogg Transport running a small fleet of wagons. In 1995 he joined Elddis Transport running a fleet of 100 plus wagons. In 1999 he became the Senior Traffic Planner and was promoted to Transport Manager in 2005, having responsibility for the smooth day to day running of the fleet and was in charge of a team of traffic planners.

In 2004 Stephen gained CPC National.

Stephen is responsible for the overall vehicle operations, and the planning of the vehicle and plant maintenance. This also includes the supervision of workshop fitters and drivers.
